Support for families with special needs
Children
Child/play therapy is currently in-person, ages 8 -12. Beth’s play therapy relies on parents also attending counselling in the form of Parent Support.
Play Therapy uses Sandtray, art, stories, games, and play founded in Alderian Partners in Play + Neuroscience & Satir in the Sandtray.
Please Note: Child therapy begins with a “parent(s) only” intake 1st-session.
Parent Support: The Child’s needs are the goal of the therapy; this can be a very effective means of support for children and their families.
